No longer funemployed 🎉

Hi all 👋

I did it. Yes, even during a series of rough patches like my Tesla locking out back then and even to this day, being a part of the Great Resignation, my family dog (Abby at 12 years strong) passing away, and other personal matters. Things have been super rough, and I didn't think they were going to get any better until I saw some recent light at the end of the tunnel... 👇

After interviewing with a bunch of companies for a month and a half, I've decided to accept an offer from the infamous, social-investing app, Public:

... which is a huge milestone for me since I've been investing on-the-side for God knows how long, and am stoked to finally work in the FinTech/Exchange industry I'm passionate about! With standard trading platform features, the community-orientedness part is what really stands out from the crowd. It's like Robinhood, Venmo (investors also invested into Public), and Clubhouse combined, but on steroids to the point where you can view others' portfolios to gather some insights, tune into informative talks/news, connect with other like-minded individuals, and so much more all while trading your favorite stocks, funds, and crypto! It doesn't get any better than that.

Also, with crypto/NFTs obviously being a huge trend these days, using Public is more of a reason to stay up-to-date with what's going on in that space while buying some $SOL (in which I'm still extremely bullish on 😉). And yes, I'm aware that this is yet another trading platform without a cryto wallet for your keys, but it does offer way more crypto offerings, an opportunity to be a part of the blockchain/DeFi community, and of course satisfies those willing to go only as far as trading them.

As Public noted recently, "Over the past year, Public.com's community has grown more than 700% and the Public team has tripled at the same time.", while they welcomed two new board members. The growth was even evident to me as a user before I got the offer. All of that said, I'm super excited to be a part of this journey and movement, so catch me at Public in the meantime.
